The summer of events for the fighting game community continues! It’s wildly convenient that some of the biggest events in fighting games happen right next door to our studios, this time in Orlando. Two weekends ago, members of our development team attended CEO. The Killer Instinct and Divekick communities showed up to compete in community tournaments. We showed up, watched, and played a bit ourselves throughout the weekend. One of us even competed and won an indie fighting game tournament! Read on to catch a glimpse of our weekend.

Both Killer Instinct and Divekick saw their bracket and stream action take place on the final day of the weekend. Matches did not disappoint.

To round out our weekend, Lead Designer Adam “Keits” Heart and Software Engineer Arthur Karapateas entered indie fighting game Scramble Heart City’s side tournament. While both fought admirably, in true combat designer fashion, Adam took home the gold in Grand Finals. Watch the back and forth set here!

Thanks to Jebailey, the Founder/CEO of CEO, and all the CEO staff for the great event. Congratulations on CEO’s 15^th anniversary! We hope the return to Orlando was a warm one.
